The NBA's Season is Suspended Until at Least April 11
The NBA has suspended its season after a player preliminarily tested positive for coronavirus, stunning fans and players who heard the plan at stadiums Wednesday night March 11th, and adding to a list of daily events and activities altered by the virus' spread nationwide

NCAA Basketball

The NCAA Men's Basketball & March Madness is Cancelled
On Thursday March 12th, it happened. NCAA president Mark Emmert announced that the men's and women's NCAA tournaments in addition to all winter and spring championships would be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. That means no brackets, no March Madness and no national championship game.

MLB Baseball

MLB Suspends Baseball Operations Indefinitely
Major League Baseball has decided to “suspend baseball operations indefinitely” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league is suspending spring training, effective tomorrow, and is delaying the start of the 2020 regular season, “by at least two weeks due to the national emergency created by the coronavirus pandemic.” Baseball has also postponed the 2020 World Baseball Classic qualifier games scheduled for Tucson, Arizona at the end of this month.

NHL Hockey

The NHL's Season is Officially canceled

In light of ongoing developments resulting from the coronavirus, and after consulting with medical experts and convening a conference call of the Board of Governors, the National Hockey League is announcing that it will pause the 2019‑20 season games.

Golf

The PGA Tour Suspended Play Through The Masters Amid Coronavirus Crisis
The PGA Tour has decided to scrap the rest of the Players Championship, and shut down its other tournaments for the next three weeks, over coronavirus fears and Golf’s first major tournament of the season The Masters was postponed indefinitely on Friday also because of the spread of coronavirus.

European Tour Status: The EPGA postponed events through April 26.
LPGA Tour Status: The LPGA Tour postponed events through April 5.

 Auto Racing

The NASCAR Postponed its Races
Formula 1 Status: F1 postponed events through April. Officials hope the season will begin at the end of May.

XFL football

The XFL has suspended play, effective immediately. Prior to the announcement, the new football league said the March 15 game between the Los Angeles Wildcats and the Seattle Dragons would take place without fans.

Major League Soccer

The MLS season has been put on hold. Only two games into the season, the league announced it is suspending play for 30 days.

U.S. Soccer

The United States Soccer Federation announced it would cancel upcoming men's and women's national team matches in March and April. The Youth National Team and Extended National Team camps that were planned would also be canceled.
 

Tennis: ATP and WTA tours
